Introduction

Above and Beyond Compression Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AB Compression mobile application and website at www.abcompression.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our Service:

Account information. If you create an account we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, country and region, and a password used to authenticate you.

Information you choose to give us. You may tell us your company and country without creating an account. This is entirely optional — you can skip it and continue to use the app, and you can use every part of the app without providing it.

App usage information. We record how the app is used so that we can understand which products and documents are of interest and follow up with customers who want help. This includes a device identifier generated by the app, the platform, device model, operating system and app version, and the actions you take in the app — such as which products you view, which documents you open, when you request access to restricted content, and when you submit an enquiry or a specification sheet.

Where you have provided your details, or later create an account, this activity is associated with you and with your company. Where you have not, it is associated only with the device identifier and we do not know who you are.

We do not collect or store your IP address in connection with app usage, and we do not use any third-party advertising or analytics network inside our mobile apps.

Push notification tokens. If you allow notifications, we collect a device token so that notifications can be delivered to your device. This token does not contain personal information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Authenticate your account and manage access
• Send push notifications about new products, promotions, documents, and updates (if you have opted in)

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Notification delivery: Notifications are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service (iOS) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android). Your device token is shared with these services solely so that a notification can reach your device. Older versions of our app deliver notifications through a provider called WonderPush, which receives your device token for the same purpose; we are in the process of retiring it, and it is not used by the current version of the app.
• Our website (not the apps): Our website uses ZoomInfo WebSights, which estimates which organisation an anonymous visitor belongs to from their network address, so that we can understand which companies are interested in our products. It identifies organisations, not individuals. It is not used in our iOS or Android apps.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

We do not use advertising networks, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction. Your password is stored in encrypted form and is never accessible in plain text.

Your Rights

You may:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings
• Delete your account by contacting us

Web Push Notifications

We use notifications for two different purposes, and you control them separately in the app under Notifications.

Product and document updates. We let you know when a new product, manual, spec sheet or announcement is added. This is part of what the app is for, and it is switched on by default. You can switch it off at any time.

Help and offers from our team. With your express consent, our sales team may send you a notification about equipment you have been looking at, or an offer of assistance. This is switched off unless you turn it on, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by switching it off under Notifications in the app. We will stop sending them.

Notifications are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service (on iOS) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (on Android), which act as delivery services on our behalf. You can also turn notifications off entirely in your device settings at any time.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Privacy Rights - Canada (PIPEDA/PIPA)

If you are located in Canada, you have the following rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA):

• The right to access the personal information we hold about you
• The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
• The right to withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information
• The right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta

We collect and use your personal information only with your knowledge and consent, and only for the purposes identified in this policy.

Your Privacy Rights - California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with the following rights:

• Right to Know: You have the right to request what personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, including the categories of information, the sources, and the purposes for collection.
• Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
